During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at this hostel. the staff were very helpful and accommodating, and they didn't seem to mind when I lost my room card a couple of times. the location was also a key selling point for me, as it was conveniently located near the train station, making it easy for me to explore the city. the hostel offered a great social experience, as every night I had the chance to meet and mingle with other guests on the patio.

The dormitory setup, with a large number of beds in one room. This meant that it could get crowded and noisy, especially if the room was fully occupied.

I recently stayed at Hostel East57 in Tokyo for a week and had a fantastic experience. The location was ideal, with Asakusa, Akihabara, and the Tokyo Skytree Tower all within walking distance. The hostel itself was incredibly clean, especially the showers, bathrooms, and bar area. The breakfast provided was tasty and filling, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Plus, the Annex building bar was the perfect place to unwind and mingle with other guests until the early hours of the morning. I had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cozy private cubicles with excellent bed, close to JR train station. New facilities and lovely helpful staff. Common area offers free laundry, coffee, and vending machine. Option to heat and eat own dinner. Great location and good privacy with curtains in bedrooms.

our anniversary stay at East57 Asakusabashi was amazing! The location was perfect, just a 4min walk to the train stations and shops. The staff were so helpful and friendly, making our experience even better. The cozy atmosphere and comfy beds made it a great place to meet new friends.

The lockers in the hallway were too small and hard to use. the showers were located on the top floor and required climbing steep stairs.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and most of them spoke English very well. the hostel is in a convenient location, with a short walk to Akihabara and close proximity to Asakusabashi Station. the lounge/bar area had a modern and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying some craft beer or relaxing with drinks and food. the rooms were comfortable and modern, with amenities like in-bed safe, outlets, and TV. the breakfast included was unbeatable, with delicious coffee and croissants. East57 Asakusabashi provided great value for our stay in Tokyo. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😢.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help. the location is fantastic, right across from Asakusabashi station. You can easily meet and make new friends with other travelers. Highly recommended for a great social experience.

I stayed at this hostel for a week during my vacation in Japan. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and I really loved the private bunk beds. The hostel may not have lockers big enough for suitcases or backpacks, but the provided safety deposit box and shoe locker were sufficient for storing valuables. I felt comfortable leaving my belongings on my bed when I was away. The sleeping areas were wonderfully quiet, and fellow guests were respectful of each other's sleep schedules. The location was fantastic, with close proximity to the train station and various dining options.
